Bridger Walker, a six-year-old boy from Wyoming who quickly rose to prominence on social media after being praised by Anne Hathaway

 The reason behind her fame is the bravery he has shown in rescuing his four-year-old sister from the dog.

According to CNN

 According to CNN, the incident took place on July 9 when he was attacked by a German Shepherd while walking on the road with his four-year-old sister.

 The dog ran straight towards his sister, Bridger came quickly in front of the dog and tried to scare him. But instead of running away, the dog attacked him.

 By the time help arrived, Bridger had been seriously injured. According to his family, Bridger underwent surgery for two hours and had about 90 stitches. When Bridger's father asked him

"Why did you come between dog and your sister?"

Bridger replied ... "If someone had to die, I thought it should be me."

 The young boy’s aunt started an Instagram page and shared that Bridger is an Avengers fan, which caught Hathaway’s attention.

 

 "I'm not an Avenger, but I know a superhero when I see one," Hathaway wrote on Instagram alongside photos of Bridger and his sister.

 

 “I can only hope I’m half as brave in my life as you are in yours, Bridger. Wishing you an easyful recovery, and many cool looking rocks. Hey markruffalo, do you need a teammate ?? ”

 

 The other members of the popular franchise have not yet commented, but the post in which Hathaway praised the boy has garnered more than a million likes and thousands of comments.

 Bridger's family said

 "We must be like Bridger, helping others and bringing peace to our homes, cities and countries through our work."
