In the city of Charleroi, Belgium, a group of men step into an e-cigarette shop around 3 p.m. They demand cash from the proprietor of the shop, a man called Didier.

Didier understands he can’t fight off six men at once, so he came up with a strategy. He told the wannabe robbers that 3 p.m. was an awful time to rob his place. If only they would evacuate and come back around 6 p.m when there would be more cash in the cash register. The men chatted with Didier for approximately 15 minutes and then departed.

Didier picks up his phone and calls the cops on the gang, saying them what occurred and that they would be back in a few hours.

The police heard to Didier and thought: “Nobody would be so stupid. They aren’t going to come around after this, right?”

False. Around 6 p.m., as advised, the robbers return to the shop to rob it. The plainclothes officers who appeared just in case were there waiting for them in a back room.
