The 23-year-old intellectually disabled was three days from giving birth to a little boy she planned to name Ryan when she vanished from her home in northern Victoria on a chilly Saturday night in June 2009.

Victoria Police has offered rewards of $1 million in a bid to solve some of the state’s worst crimes.

12 years living the never-ending nightmare.... 12 years of wondering and waiting for the phone call that to date has never come... 12 long tedious, heartbreaking years after Krystal Fraser went missing, her family still live in hope they will find answers to finally bringing her home...

Just 23 years old, Krystal was looking forward to the upcoming birth of her baby boy Ryan, due within a day or two after she went missing. A grandson Krystals parents have never had the opportunity to meet, to hold, see his first smile, to watch him take his first steps, and enjoy the chance at being grandparents.

Krystal is dearly loved and deeply missed by her family, who just want to know what occurred to her and her son, and want her to remain home so they can bury her with the love, dignity, and respect she so rightfully deserves.

Heavily pregnant with her first child, 23-year-old Krystal Lee Fraser (also known as Krystal Frazier and Kylie Wright) was last seen on Saturday 20th June 2009, in Pyramid Hill VIC.

Krystal and her unborn baby boy, have not been seen or heard from since this date.

Karen Fraser and their husband Neil moved to Pyramid Hill 25 years ago and ran the local bakery.

“She was a very kind-hearted girl. She wasn’t stupid, but she lived in her little world. I took her to so many doctors trying to get her diagnosed, but you’re talking 30-odd years ago,” Karen says.

“She had lots of little bits of different spectrums, and she got put in the ‘too hard box. That’s where Krystal lived her whole life.”

Krystal was well-known in town and to V/Line passengers. She rode the Bendigo-Swan Hill line frequently.

Do you know what happened to Krystal?

On the 19th of June, Krystal had been admitted to the Bendigo Hospital due to complications with her pregnancy. The following day on the 20th, Krystal had been in contact with her mum, saying she was out of the hospital on day release. However, extensive investigations by investigators revealed Krystal had traveled from Bendigo back to Pyramid Hill on the V/Line train, alighting from the train at the Pyramid Hill Railway Station at nearly 8:40 pm.

Krystal was last seen leaving an address in Albert Street Pyramid Hill at approximately 9:30 pm after visiting an acquaintance.

Investigators have established Krystal received a call to her mobile telephone shortly before midnight, from a public telephone booth on Findlay Street, located outside the Leitchville Post Office. Police think this is the last person who spoke with Karen before her disappearance. Her phone was tracked traveling in the direction of Leitchville along a two-lane bush road around 3 am. But then the signal ended.

Krystal has not attempted to contact family or friends, nor has she accessed any bank accounts. Krystal's mobile telephone remains missing. Police believe foul play is involved in Krystal's disappearance and suspect she has been murdered.

Throughout the inquiry process, police have been hindered by gossip, rumors, and theories by "armchair detectives". Police had hoped with the announcement of a $100,000 reward in 2012, information would be forthcoming. But sadly, Krystal's whereabouts remain unknown.

At the time of her disappearance, Krystal is described as standing 167cm tall with a thin build, short light brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. Krystal has crooked teeth and wears spectacles. Krystal was last seen wearing an orange top, black tracksuit pants, and a camouflaged patterned baseball cap. Krystal would now be aged 32 years old and her son Ryan would be aged 9 years old.

Krystal's family dearly wants to know where their beloved daughter and grandson are. Police feel they know the prime suspect's identity, but just need that vital piece of information to solve what happened to Krystal on that day, 9 years ago. Do you have that piece of information so desperately needed?
