Introduction:

A massive search is underway for Diana Rose Alejandre Garcia Gonzalez, a 31-year-old woman who vanished from her home in Winterhaven, California. Diana, a mother of five, was last seen on May 4, 2020, prompting her family and friends to launch a search effort scheduled for October 17.

Background:

"A massive search for 31-year-old Diana Rose Alejandre Garcia Gonzalez is planned for October, five months after the mother of five disappeared from her Winterhaven, California home without a trace,"  said Diana's aunt, Jenny Espino, expressing the family's determination to find her.

Last contact with Diana was in April 2020, and after June brought no communication, Jenny Espino, filed a missing persons report with the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office. Investigator J. Hurtado confirmed the ongoing search, stating that Diana was last known to be at her Winterhaven home with her girlfriend.

Investigation:

"Diana had left her purse, cell phone, and personal belongings behind," Investigator Hurtado revealed. "There are many stories and rumors around this case right now, so it’s hard to say at this time if foul play is involved."He added that Diana frequented Winterhaven, Yuma, Arizona, and Mexico, but recent sightings are lacking.

The hope is that by sharing Diana’s story and photo on social media, someone, somewhere will have information on her whereabouts.

Community Support:

Magan Edwards and her team from “For the Missing” are assisting Diana's family.

"Our goal is to bring Diana home safe to her family," Magan emphasized.

They utilize social media platforms and a dedicated Facebook group to spread awareness about Diana's disappearance.

Upcoming Search Effort:

"A massive search effort is being planned for 10 a.m. on October 17, 2020, in Winterhaven, California," Jenny stated, urging volunteers to join.

She expressed her concern, fearing foul play, especially considering Diana's nurturing nature and her commitment to her children.

Persistent Hope:

"I won’t let that happen," Jenny affirmed. "She’s out there somewhere and we’re going to bring her home. We’re not giving up"
