Diane Genice Dye, a beautiful girl from Sana Jose, ran away from her house in 1979. She has never been discovered, nor has her body. Diane’s mother and friends searched for her for years, but it led to nothing. Diane’s mama died without ever getting closure over her daughter’s disappearance.

Case

Dye escaped from her residence in 1979 during the period when her parents were divorcing. She met with a friend at a shopping mall in late December 1981, she was reportedly warned by Diane that she didn't plan to go home and didn't want anyone to notice where she was. After that encounter, there was confirmed news of her sightings in the 80s. No information has been received after that, indicating that Diane had met her fate.

Princess Doe

Dye was subjected to news media manipulation after the finding of Princess Doe in 1982. Many thought the victim was Dye, including a few members of the investigation team. But after DNA testing, it was verified that they were two different people. This theory was also rejected after dental record verification.

The FBI understands Doug Young, a killer presently on death row, raped and killed her. He knew Diane before she ran away from her home, always had a thing for her, and was seen speaking to Diane soon before she ran away. Doug Young says that he only provided Diane a ride when he saw her walking. The FBI didn't believe him and has been back to death row several times to interrogate Doug Young. He rejects having anything to do with Diane's death if she is no more.
