Britanny Beers said her mother she  was going to ride her bike around the neighborhood.

" Beer’s bicycle was eventually left at the front door of her family's apartment, Law enforcement, unfortunately, could find do additional proof. A witness informed Law Enforcement he saw Brittney speaking with a man in a red or brown mid-sized car not long before she vanished, Even though sketched flyers were distributed of the man’s likeness he was never recognized, He is characterized as a white male, in his late 20s or early 30s, and driving a red or brown Buick Renault." Also, keep in mind, there were many instances of abuse in this case.

"Allegations of abuse and neglect have been well documented in this case, Neighbors spoke about how Beer’s mother would lock her out of the house for misbehaving, In what is believed to be the last photo ever taken of Beers her hair is strikingly different, Her uncle James Allen Beers according to Beer’s older sister chopped her hair off because she “wasn’t taking care of it” Days after Beer’s disappearance this same uncle was imprisoned on an unrelated charge of domestic violence for striking her mother with a bottle. Beer’s mother had been urged to leave James due to the abuse she however denied,

As a result, the remaining children Joshua Folsom and Autumn Stetler were removed from the home. Beer at the tender age of 3 became the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of Kevin Folsom the father of her brother Joshua, Folsom was sentenced on a charge of criminal sexual conduct and had been in prison since 1996." "According to Sturgis Public Safety possible suspect, in this case, is a convicted killer named Daniel Kevin Furlong, Furlong was convicted of the 2007 murder of Jodi Parrack, DNA proof linked Furlong to the killing of Parrack after he was taken into custody for trying to restrain an 11-year-old girl and threatening her with a knife in his garage, That’s were the discovery was made that linked him to the murder of Parrack, Director Geoff Smith says the agency thinks Furlong was in the area at the time Beer’s disappeared, Smith interviewed Furlong extensively and concluded Furlong is a pathological liar and he can’t rule him out as a person of interest. Furlong is currently serving a 30-60 year sentence for Parrack’s killing.
