Police seek help to find missing man at Springwood

Logan police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help find a man missing in the Springwood area since the weekend.

Police hold concerns for the safety and wellbeing of a 89-year-old Brian Perkins who was last seen on foot on Barbaralla Drive around 11.30am on Saturday February 11.

Brian has a medical condition and may be confused and have communication difficulties.

Despite extensive area searches by the police, Brian remains missing. Brian is a slim-built Caucasian man with grey, balding hair, standing at 170cm tall.

Anyone who has seen Brian or has any information which could assist with this investigation into his disappearance is urged to immediately contact police.
