Second body found in Galveston search for missing twin boys last seen in water near Pleasure Pier
Authorities have disclosed that on Sunday at approximately 4:30 p.m., the family of Jefferson and Josue contacted 911 after the twin boys went missing in the water on the west side of Pleasure Pier. Officials have stated that the boys were last spotted in water that was chest-deep or waist-deep, and it's been reported that they did not know how to swim. Despite the extensive search efforts, Galveston Island Beach Patrol has shared that no one has confirmed seeing the boys go underwater.

"So essentially what happened is they were out in the water, the parents briefly lost sight of them, and they looked back up into that area, and they did not see them any longer," explained  Lt. Austin Kirwin with Galveston Beach Patrol.

In a statement, Aldine Independent School District confirmed that both Jefferson and Josue were students at Hoffman Middle School.
