Body of missing teenager found in river

The public was urged to remain vigilant and assist in locating James, who was last observed wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and grey Nike trainers featuring a green tick. In a tragic and heart-wrenching update, Gwent Police have announced that the lifeless body of a man was discovered in the River Usk in Newport on Sunday, June 25, at approximately 6:15 p.m. This somber development has left the community deeply saddened.

“Formal identification has taken place and the man was identified as Tom Moreton, 19, of Cwmbran who was reported as missing to us on Sunday 25 June."
