Khudhair Hamdan, 55, of Arlington, Texas, was helping a family member sell a car through a social media marketplace app. He agreed to take an interested buyer on a test drive on a Tuesday evening. According to police, two young men arrived at his home to test drive the vehicle, and the three left together.
The Shooting
While driving along Port Richmond Way, investigators believe one of the two men drew a gun and shot Hamdan. He exited the vehicle and collapsed in the road; the two suspects continued driving before abandoning the car near the intersection of Matlock Road and Sublett Road. Residents reported finding Hamdan unresponsive in the road, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
