13-year-old boy wanted for LaGrange Easter Sunday murder in custody

On Monday, authorities reported that the 13-year-old boy who was sought for murder in relation to a deadly Easter shooting in a LaGrange neighborhood has surrendered to the police.
According to FOX 5, the LaGrange Police Department stated that upon responding to a shooting incident on McGregor Street near Colquitt Street on Easter Sunday, they discovered 20-year-old Davaris Lindsey with multiple gunshot wounds.

After being quickly transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical for medical attention, Lindsey was later transferred to a hospital in the metro area, where he was reported to be in critical condition. Sadly, on Wednesday, the police confirmed that Lindsey passed away due to the injuries he sustained.

Authorities announced on Monday that they had identified 13-year-old Jayden Gunsby as a suspect in the shooting incident. Following the issuance of arrest warrants, Gunsby turned himself in to the police station a few hours later. He is now facing adult charges of murder.
